About Ian Thornhill

“I competed as a Time Trialist for Preston Wheelers and in my final season competed in the BBAR which encompasses 25, 50 and 100 mile time trials and also a 12 hour. I have completed many Audaxes and more recently, Sportives. I have, at my peak, trained at over 300 miles a week.

Cycling is a huge part of my life and one that I really value. I regularly do three training rides a week plus a longer one if time and the weather permits. I am a member of Garstang CC and I enjoy the group dynamic of the Saturday ride out from the Royal Oak in the centre of Garstang.”
